Our cancellation policy is very easy - if you cancel your hosting account we will provide you with a refund for the remainder of the term. The refund will exclude any setup fees, domain name registration fees, and add-on services such as Certified Protection or Additional IP addresses charged to you at the time of sign up. However, you remain the registered owner of your domain name.

  • Guarantee applies to first time clients only.
    If you have had an account before and received a refund, you will not eligible for any further refunds.
  • Prepaid (discounted) plans who wish to cancel, will be refunded any remaining balance. Balance is calculated using the difference between your original payment and the amount of usage to date. Usage is billed at plan regular monthly rate.

  • DOMAIN NAMES: Your domain is eligible for transfer after the standard 60 days. After 60 days, you are welcome to transfer you domain to any registrar of your choosing. During the 60 days you can update your name servers to point elsewhere in order to continue use of your domain.

The strength of our infrastructure and support systems makes it possible for Certified Hosting to offer an industry-leading 99.999% Guaranteed Uptime policy, covering all Web sites hosted on our servers. Subject to the terms of the Guaranteed Uptime policy ('SLA'), a customer's Web site will be up and available at least 99.999% of the time in any given calendar month, or the customer will receive a credit towards their next month's hosting bill, according to the current Service Level Agreement.

Should Certified Hosting not be able to provide services guaranteed by the current SLA, the following service credits will be issued:

  • 1 or More Hours Downtime = 1 Day Credit
  • 4 or More Hours Downtime = 1 Week Credit

    Downtime is referred to as our network equipment being down. We do not possess control over the Internet, therefore we cannot guarantee that you will be able to access your site due to circumstances beyond our control. We guarantee that our network will be up and functioning 99.999% of the time per month.

In order to receive your credit you must do the following:
1) Document your web site downtime in writing.
2) Have your web site downtime verified by Certified Hosting.
